Three letters about the BBC in one day is a bit much.
Surely there are more important issues to gripe about?
Personally, having witnessed the whole red-shirt debacle, I thought the BBC coverage to be fair and accurate given their time constraints. Except for the endless repetition and previews of coming programmes, I find both the BBC and CNN to be good sources of up-to-the-minute news events.
If the incessant complainers are so unhappy and distraught with such coverage, I suggest they go back to reading newspapers such as the International Herald Tribune, the Asian Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Hull Daily Mail, and The Economist for excellent news and in-depth commentary.
More importantly, please drop the whole BBC issue and get a life!
