See you at the St Regis

Celebrate Christmas and the New Year at the St Regis Bangkok and you might have trouble choosing which of the many delighting dining options is best for you. 

First, there’s Christmas tea in the Drawing Room. Taking its cue from the long-standing tradition at the flagship St Regis in New York City, Christmas Tea in the Drawing Room is a delightful all-senses treat for both guests and locals in a warm, comfortable setting. The white-gloved ritual includes butler-style service with a selection of menus offering a delicious range of traditional British favourites and Asian delicacies. Guests can choose from four menus, including a new Christmas menu that includes fresh turkey sandwiches with cranberry sauce, yellowfin tuna with Thai herbs, Christmas cake, mince pie, and many other seasonal delicacies. There’s also a selection of Dammann Frères fine teas along with a substantial menu of sweet and savoury items such as smoked salmon, pan-fried foie gras, and traditional British tea treats, such as scones with clotted cream and jam, sausage rolls, shortbread and cucumber finger sandwiches. Afternoon tea is on offer all this month.

New Year’s Eve is feted in style at the St Regis Bar, which hosts a special party featuring the music of international vocalist Margarie Mullings. Mullings and her band will perform in the bar on the hotel’s 12th floor overlooking the Royal Bangkok Sports Club and the dazzling Bangkok skyline.   

Meanwhile Jojo, the hotel’s Italian restaurant enters the fray with several prix fixe menus to celebrate Christmas and the New Year.  Jojo is a distinctly modern restaurant and bar with an outdoor terrace for guests to enjoy urban alfresco dining at its best.  The upscale, contemporary Italian cuisine is accompanied by a wine cellar thoughtfully composed to appeal to any discerning wine connoisseur. 

For the same occasions, Viu, a distinctive, stylish restaurant on the 12th floor, has come up with a menu of contemporary international cuisine and fine wines. It offers buffet and prix fixe menus to celebrate Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Viu’s holiday offerings will include a Christmas Eve buffet dinner.
