Other world leaders' English similar to PM

Ref: "Has the PM been taking lessons?", Letters, Saturday.

Mrs Constance Beasley has done it again with her British lightheartedness. I also do find those critics of PM Yingluck’s spoken English like “a pronunciation Nazi”. I have heard many world leaders whose mother tongue is not English speaking the language at the same level as Ms Yingluck, and some were worse.
Irrespective of her imperfect pronunciation and lack of direction on her water management, I find her fresh look and deportment so pleasing to watch. Certainly, her command of English does not make us proud as in the case of Khun Abhisit, but her demeanour compensates immensely for that shortfall. She has already been hailed as the prettiest lady prime minister in the world. Great credit goes to her northern upbringing – so gentle and ladylike on all occasions.
Also, this refers to “In hindsight, the right decision” and “Britain cut off from Europe”, Opinion & Features on Saturday.
It is fitting to have the background of Queen Victoria’s statute while the UK ambassador assured your interviewer of his prime minister’s correctness in being the lone country out of 27 in objecting to and frustrating the desires of 26 countries to have stricter financial discipline under the EU’s regulations. The objection was due to Mr Cameron’s desire to protect the greatness of the City of London.
While also fitting, the conclusion of the latter article with a different view was of the opinion that “In this globalised world, sorry to say, Europe as a whole means more than an island”. Well, no one can argue against that.
