Since the recent flooding, there have been several items still missing from the shelves. I went there a couple of days ago for soda water for our upcoming company party. The first time I went to the shelf, it was empty. I decided to get other things before coming back again to check. When I came around again, I saw three guys loading cases of soda water from a pallet to several shopping carts. When I asked them, they said all of it belonged to them. There were several others also wanting soda water. I counted more than 60 cases of soda water and these guys took them all. I wanted to buy coffee drinks in cans too, but these guys took them as well. They were buying everything to resell later for profit, I am sure.
I’d like to know how Tesco-Lotus lets them do it? How can Tesco-Lotus let one individual buy everything while others cannot? It seems that these guys also have some insider information as to when the soda water and coffee drinks were coming into the store, because they managed to get hold of it even before it was placed on the shelves.
Tesco-Lotus must do something about this. It always happens during a crisis or shortage. Why can’t these people learn to share? I am sure there will be enough for everybody if people like these guys think of others instead of themselves always.
