The CDC’s festive-season campaign is “Happiness is All Around”, which focuses on giving presents to the flood-hit children at the Rangsit Baby Home.
The centre also hosts “Kuen Sook Yok Kam Lang Sam” until the end of February. The campaign has three themes: “Happiness by Sharing”, which seeks donations of money to benefit the Princess Pa Foundation of the Thai Red Cross Society in support of flood victims; “Creative Happiness” through relaxing at the beer garden and outdoor wine lounge; and “Fun Happiness” – live concerts from leading Thai musicians.
The CDC’s holiday decorations aim to raise awareness about the sustainable use of natural resources through the use ofenvironmentally friendly LED lights. The 10-metre tall Christmas tree by Design Catalyst, SCG Chemicals, is made from plastic from a clean production process that releases less heat and can be reused as school bags for kids.
