Wake up, your tattoo is calling

If you haven't yet answered the yearning to get a tattoo, you can hold off on the needlework just a little bit longer.

Now there’s an app for that.
Sure it’s not as trendy as having a heart on your hip, but at least you can let your mobile phone try it out first.
Thailand’s most celebrated tattoo master, Ajarn Noo – the guy who famously decorated parts of Angelina Jolie’s body without a hint of embarrassment – will let you display five rows of mysterious, auspicious yantra on your phone screen.
Champ IT Mobile says its TV 4 phone app is a world first, as does Ajarn Noo in a television commercial that’s viewable on YouTube. “It’s a gift to you all,” he says.
But wait, there’s more! Famous fortune-teller Supakit “Morkrit Confirm” Pathomsriviroj gives it his blessing, too. “A good mobile phone must be good from the inside out,” the soothsayer says, predicting, less cryptically, that for only Bt2,590, the phone will grant all your wishes while you chat with friends. Maybe theirs, too.
Is there a money-back guarantee? Oh, shut up and have a little faith for once!
Order now and they’ll throw in some authentic shaman’s chicken bones for your BlackBerry.

Target in sight
Now that Patcharapa “Aum” Chaichue is single once more, she’s fair game for gossip again. We think that’s the rule, anyway.
Lately there have been multiple meetings with Marsha Wattanapanich’s ex-boyfriend DJ Krit sripoomseth. No overt denials of a relationship from them – just overuse of the word “friends”.
Thai Rath points out helpfully that the two often have Sunday dinner at a restaurant at CentralWorld’s Centara Grand. But that’s still not a gun-jumper because Aum earlier often had “rather intimate” meals at the Bangkok Bistro Riverfront with Nescafé executive Chalermchai Mahagitsiri.
So we’re just sort of hanging around now waiting for one of you “citizen journalists” to come up with a cell-phone snapshot that’s clear (and rude) enough to be conclusive.
