Invite all to debate lese majeste law

Burin Kantabutra's call for a public debate on the lese-majeste laws (Letters, February 6) is a welcome endorsement of the principle of free speech in the face of repeated attempts at suppression.
However, if lack of space at the chosen venue dictates anything as undemocratic as priority seating, it would only be courteous to extend invitations to several other interested groups, notably the judiciary, the police and, of course, the armed forces leadership.
