Useless experiments on green tea

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2012

While one can usually trust Eric Bahrt's research into animal experiments, it is totally beyond me why these companies see the need to spend time and money on rats and mice for testing the (claimed) cholesterol-lowering effect of their green tea products.

Many people like myself are undergoing regular cholesterol tests anyway, and for a reasonable compensation I for one would gladly make myself available for having the effect of green tea tested on myself, as long as they don’t stick me in a dark chamber and kill me after the tests. Although I don’t think the brands quoted by Eric are particularly known for the quality of their products, I am awaiting their offers.
