The Democrat’s spokesman first cast innuendo about the impropriety of a lady visiting a hotel. Now its spokeswoman has conveniently changed the tune to demand to know the content of a meeting with businessmen that went for two hours, once it emerged that it was a talk with seven individuals. She had the audacity to state that she had “no intention to attack or harass Yingluck” in her present pursuit. No person of any right mind would have believed her. That reminds me of the autocratic days of the military junta.
Not limited to Yingluck, her attack was also directed at the Sansiri chief for defending Yingluck by asking the House committee to investigate the man’s assets.
As a repeated Democrat supporter, I levy the responsibility of this unsavoury conduct of a group of young Democrats on the lap of the party’s leader Abhisit Vejjajiva, a trained gentleman, for allowing this issue to go on so long. I wish they could just concentrate on big issues like demanding people’s resignation if the Constitution Court rules against the two emergency decrees.
