Less a truant than her brother

I think it is very unfair that the prime minister is being picked on for missing a day in Parliament.

She has probably already attended Parliament more often than her elder brother did during his six years in office. His prolonged absence from the country whilst he was caretaker prime minister was even more regrettable. All that, of course, is now long forgotten and we are supposed to weep for the absent (popularly called “ousted”) prime minister.
The standards being applied to the unfortunate incumbent were not applied to her clone source. A thorough review of his activities during his period in office would be welcomed to put his sister’s indiscretion into context.
