From my observation, the Democrats have given up hope of winning the race the old-fashioned way – i.e. to win most seats in the House. The last time they did so was in 1992, and by a teeny-weeny margin that was needed to form a five-party coalition.
If I were them, I’d listen to the two wise men Khun Burin and Khun Songdej and focus on big issues rather than PM Yingluck’s hotel meeting and Chalerm being tipsy during a parliamentary debate. I feel sorry for the Democrats, as they keep doing the same thing over and over but expect different results.
It gets to the point where spectators are rooting for the opposite team because the match is heavily lopsided.
