Newly appointed National Artist Setha Sirachaya will be back on stage this Tuesday with the concert “Jak Wan Nan Thueng Wan Nee Proh Mee Khun” being staged at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre at 8pm.
The show takes it name from Setha’s recently released four-CD box set that features 40 songs by four national artists and songwriters” Payong Mukda, Sa-Nga Arumphee, Chalee Inthrawijit and Suraphol Donavanik. The music has been rearranged by producers Chatree “Ohm” Kongsuwan, Panathep “Toon” Suwannabun, Vichai “Toi” Punyayan, and Pathai “Aun” Wijitravejakarn and the box set will be on sale at the concert only.
Setha recently held a press conference at Mellow Yellow on RCA and performed a few songs, among them “Khiriboon”, “Phom Noi Jai”, “Wa Wae”, “Pai Tam Duang”, and a medley of international numbers accompanied by friends Vinai Panthurak, Pichai Thongniem and Panuwas Pathanakul, members of string combo The Impossibles. Some of the producers also jammed with him on stage.
Songwriter Chalee Inthrawijit, Poom Orawan and Mam Patcharida were also at the press conference.
