You’ve seen him in that Mitsubishi TV commercial driving all over Thailand? They gave him exactly one day to do that.
“It was all done with computer graphics because I didn’t have much time,” he says. “The production team shot all the scenery. I was only in the studio. It was a shame I didn’t get to go to the seaside, but the work was fun and it came out amazingly good.”
Khun doesn’t even own a car – probably too busy to learn to drive – but if he did, says the sweetie, “my first passengers would be my parents”. He also wishes he could show his 2PM pals around Thailand. “They all asked me when we could go.”
Later, dudes! They’re booked solid through 2025 or something. In the meantime they’ll just have to be satisfied with computer graphics – and the Nose Udom comedy show CD that one of Khun’s fans has sent him. What more do they want?
Penpak fills gap
With back-to-back movies in the theatres and her enviable swimsuit figure on display on a magazine cover, it’s a good time to be Penpak Sirikul, even if you’re 50.
Modest to a fault, Penpak says she’s just happy that people keep “giving her chances”, such as her latest film “She”, which premiered on Thursday. In fact she’s been approached to appear in three movies this year rather than the usual one per year, and Channel 3 keeps her busy too.
Apparently not busy enough, though, because she’s just opened a wine bar in Chiang Mai, mainly because “I could never find a quiet place to just chill out there, so I joined my niece to open my own.”
It’s on Nimmaheminda Soi 9. “If I’m not acting, I’ll be there,” she says.
Fans and stalkers will have a long wait.
