Hi-so street food an inconvenience

A five-star international hotel which opened last year now boasts two of Bangkok's most exclusive and expensive restaurants.

The dysfunctional design and operations of the hotel are also the focus of considerable attention. For example, the underground goods delivery bay is totally inadequate, to the extent that the adjoining soi has become the bespoke delivery area of choice. On March 28 at 10.26am a large consignment of fish was even dragged across the road and into the hotel.
Today’s special: “Fresh fillet of flounder delicately grilled in a light coating of finely ground local gravel and contaminated dust.”
Bon appetit?
