Lacking in spatial awareness
Today, again I witnessed the incredible incompetence of our police.
An ambulance obviously with an emergency case could not get through the traffic while all sirens were on, because the police were directing the traffic through the indicated emergency lane. The ambulance driver tried everything, but no one would move out of the way to let him through. The emergency lane was totally blocked by police-directed traffic.
It is the same everywhere. Why can’t we organise anything properly? Emergency lanes are for what they are indicated to be for: emergencies.
