At the Alliance Francaise, there’s the photo exhibition, “Energy, What Are the Choices for Tomorrow?”, featuring images by Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
He’s the photographer who made the documentary film “Home” in which he flew over various parts of the globe to offer a bird’s eye view of our harmful impact on the planet.
The photo exhibition presents various energy sources from fossil fuel to nuclear energy and highlights the economic, technical and ecological challenges of various renewable energy choices.
Organised by the GoodPlanet Foundation of which he is president, Arthus-Bertrand has served as goodwill ambassador of the UN Environment Programme and organised the foundation’s “Sustainable Development, Why?” project, which covers five exhibitions: “Sustainable Development” in 2006, “Biodiversity” in 2007, “Energy” in 2008, “Water” in 2009 and “The Forest, a Living Community” in 2010.
The show continues until May 13. For more information, visit www.Alliance-Francaise.or.th or call (02) 670 4240.
