Listen up ladies: those self-portrait photos of “cute” poses and funny faces that you’re posting on the Internet are not beautiful.
So says fashion photographer Nat Prakobsantisuk, who reckons genuine beauty comes from within and is the reflection of self-confidence.
He’s one of the 11 leading lensmen selected to take black-and-white portraits of 111 lucky Eucerin users for the skincare brand’s 111th anniversary.
Instead of making a goofy face or a weird hand gesture, Nat suggests spicing up your photo by baring a bit of shoulder.
Another thing that bugs Nat are “big eye” contact lenses – people who wear them look like “space aliens”.
When photographing models, Nat says he first looks for their outstanding features then looks for ways to enhance that.
The Eucerin campaign had him shooting supermodel Sonia Couling as well as regular folks.
For Sonia’s photos, Nat stripped away the celebrity look to highlight her natural beauty.
Sonia’s outstanding feature is her beautiful skin – and with no makeup, she is positively glowing. No wonder Eucerin picked her for the campaign.

Missing in action from the recent Subhanahongsa “Thai Oscars” was the Best Actor winner “Peter” Noppachai Jayanama for his role as the upside-down assassin in Pen-ek Ratanaruang’s “Headshot”.
His excuse? He was in Kanchanaburi, filming another a sequel to MC Chatrichalerm Yukol’s “The Legend of King Naresuan”.
Having swept the best actor prize at all of Thailand’s major film awards this season, it should come as no surprise that Peter’s talents will be even more in demand.
In addition to his major role in the “Naresuan” historical epics, the fifth (and final?) episode of which is expected to be released this year, Peter has another royal project lined up – “Together”, which stars Princess Ubolratana. It’s now in post-production, so it’s likely that it’ll come out before “Naresuan V”.
