Ban them from public-sector jobs

I wonder what the Pheu Thai banned politicians have been doing for the last five years, apart perhaps from a few jaunts to Dubai.
Surely they cannot all be so unusually wealthy they could afford not to have had a paid job for five years. However, their obvious desire to get back into politics as soon as their ban expires makes one wonder if their wealth is running out.
Politicians or anyone in public office who break rules for their personal gain have absolutely no place in government. Can anyone guarantee they will not repeat their devious actions. Silly me. They are politicians!
Rather than a ban from office for five years such individuals should be banned for life from any type of job paid for by taxpayers.
