One of the country's biggest events for runners, the Laguna Phuket International Marathon hits the starting line on Sunday, powered by Timex.
More than 5,000 runners from around the world are expected to take part in the event, which is sanctioned by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races.
“We’re delighted to jointly host the Lakuna International MarathonRun Paradise at Laguna beach in Phuket this Sunday, as Timex is regarded as a watch for runners,” said Keanapa Jittiruangvichai, brand and lifestyle senior manager of Timex distributor LF Asia.
“We’ll support all the timing watches used in the event, which has been held for seven consecutive years and grown in popularity each year.
“The winners this time will receive trophies along with Timex Ironman watches specifically designed for runners. People will also find several models of Timex watches at special prices in our booth during the event,” said Kenapa.
