“Tina” Aguilar and Jetrin “Jay” Wattanasin have all
been trotting out the old hits, and still to come is the
26th-anniversary “Baa Hob Fang” show by brothers
Asanee and Wasan Chotikul.
Tickets for these “old-timers” invariably sell out
fast, and usually see a second show added due to
popular demand. “Baa Hob Fang” on July 28 – co-
organised by GMM Grammy, Union Music and
Yuthana “Ted” Boonorm’s GaeRe – is no different.
Fans who didn’t grab a seat fast enough tweeted
Ted to beg for a second chance, and he obliged with
a concert on July 27, warning them not to dawdle this
time, though.
Ted admits that GMM staff bought most of the
July 28 tickets but he still thought there’d be enough
seats left to go round. “We actually did plan ahead in
case we needed a second show, but it happened
faster than we expected!”
Nut graduates
Anyone getting ready to brand Nut “Nut AF4”
Sakdathorn for being ungrateful to “Academy
Fantasia” needs to step back a minute.
Once his contract expires in September,
the singer is quitting True after having
won his fame on TrueVision’s reality show.
“I’ve already informed the company that I’m not
going to extend the contract,” he announced, while
hinting that he already has a deal with someone else
(rumours say GMM Grammy).
Hence the accusations online that Nut’s an
ungrateful little worm, or something to that effect. In
his defence, though, Nut did thank True effusively for
taking good care of him for five glorious years. In fact,
it was because he respects True and is so grateful that
he made sure he informed the label of his plans
almost five months in advance.
“We’ll part on good terms,” he said, “and no
matter how long we stay apart, I’ll still have ‘AF’ in
my genes.”
