What's hot

A true summer Palette

Palette by It’s Happened to be a Closet’s summer collection revolves around the fun-loving, carefree and girlish spirit of the wild summer holiday with eye-catching neon bikinis worn under sheer, floaty ruffled dresses, with bold-coloured harem trousers or even the super-sweet tutu skirt. It’s also about neon disco-meet-beach barbecue, and a rule-breaking styling in which you just throw together a few unlikely pieces to achieve a devil-may-care look.
Check out the collection at Palette shop, Siam Centre on Third, as well as in Siam Paragon, 1st Floor, The Emporium and Central Pinklao, Central Lat Phrao and The Mall Bang Kapi.

From the screen to the streets
The Christian Dior Museum pays homage to the silver screen with a summer exhibition of fashions worn by movie stars at the Villa Les Rhumbs in Granville, France that runs until September 23.
Dior collaborated with many filmmakers, among them Claude Autant-Lara and Alfred Hitchcock. The Berlin Film Archive has exceptionally loaned an exhibit dedicated to Marlene Dietrich for the show. Cin?math?que Fran?aise has also contributed costumes from a number of films including Joseph Losey’s 1968 “Secret Ceremony” with Elisabeth Taylor and Pedro Almodovar’s “Broken Embraces” starring Penelope Cruz. They are on show alongside preparatory sketches, posters, scripts, archive documents, photographs and excerpts that bring back the atmosphere of these screen gems and demonstrate the essential part that costumes play in the success of a film.

It’s happening at H
H Project Space is currently hosting Hanspeter Ammann’s“It Happens” a subtle installation involving live participants. Ammann sets out to achieve two things: to transform the gallery into a space of charged cross-class and cross-cultural encounters; and to draw attention to and personify the usually overlooked yet productive and cultural core of Thai society.
The installation will be active on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 7pm until July 31.
The gallery is at 201 Sathorn Soi 12. Call (085) 021 5508 or visit www.HGallery-Bkk.com.
