Let's hope the Constitution Court will rule once and for all that any attempt to wholly rewrite the charter - by way of setting up a constitution-drafting committee, for example - is tantamount to staging a coup.
Why? Because all successful coup-makers in the past have done exactly that – tear up the constitution and write a new one to suit the purpose of a new dictator.
Let’s see to it that national referenda are held both before and after the drafting of such amendments in order to make them valid.
