The stars turned out in droves to the Aksra Theatre on the third floor of King Power for this year’s Fat Awards ceremony, which this year saw prizes being handed out in 23 categories as 104.5 Fat Radio blows out the candles for its twelfth birthday..

Spotted in the audience were Cris Horwang, Koy Ratchawin, Per Suvikrom, Gypso Ramita, Song Paradox, Knot Yuthana, Palm Thitawin, Ple-Noi, Suparod Nan, Rit Wararit, Ae Warayuth, Kor Kritapas, and programme director Pongnarin Ulis.

The event opened with performance by those artists nominated in the Song of the Year category, with La Ong Fong performing “Arkas”, Sqweez Animal “Phieng”, Better Weather singing “Animation”, The Yers “Manut Long Hon”, Boy Trai “Rom See Thao”, Nop Pornchamni “Pid Panuek”, Lula “Khon Bon Fah”, Cutto of Lipta in “Nuang”, Pe Mild “Jeb” and 25 Hours performing “Chick”.

The announcement started with Bedroom Artist of the Year, which went to Living Room while and Polycat picked up New Artist of the Year. The Hall of Fat was given to many artists, who have been considered as inspiration throughout the past 12 years, among them Bodyslam, Scrubb, Moderndog, 25 Hours, Groove Rider, Paradox, Greasy Café, The Photo Sticker Machine, Mr Z, T-Bone, Apartment Khunpa and 2 Days Ago Kids.

Female Artist went to Palmy, Male Artist to Natapol Srichomkwan, Duo or Group Artist to The Yers, Song of the Year to “Pid Panuek” by Trai Bhumirat, Record of the Year to Sqweez Animal’s “Kham Bang Kham”, Album of the Year to 25 Hours’s “Colour in White”, Popular song to Apiwat “Stamp” Eurthavornsuk’s “Animation”, Popular Artist to Paradox and Popular Album to Paradox’s “Daydreamer.”
