When those who take a dim view of Thaksin and all his doings are reduced to citing reports from Iranian International News Online to further their cause, then it is clear that they are really scraping the bottom of the barrel.
I cannot imagine why anyone would place any credence on reports from a media arm of a regime that slaughtered thousands after the fall of the shah, has persecuted religious minorities since then, not to mention political opponents, and is well known to be sponsoring terrorist attacks abroad.
