The actions and behaviour of the red shirts have become more and more of an embarrassment to the Yingluck government.
The latest incident, in which De-mocrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva was blocked and pelted at when travelling to a seminar in Samut Prakan showed that Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is democratic-minded only in her words.
It is clear the situation we are seeing now is a result of Thaksin Shinawatra’s provoking phone-in speeches that started from before the 2011 general election and continue until now. It also shows some people should start practising what they preach – embrace harmony and bring on reconciliation.
Time is running out.
