Bangkok's favourite fashion dog reveals its new collection

For autumn and winter 2012, fashion label Greyhound Original focuses on the simple yet individualistic while looking to the complexities of the future with a new collection on the concept “Life in Mono”.
The collection, revealed recently in an exclusive preview at the Greyhound Original boutique at Siam Paragon, is inspired by Yves Klein, a French artist best known for his minimal arts and monochrome works in ultramarine blue.
The designs are mainly in minimal classic style with a hint of sportswear and feature a variety of new techniques, among them outlining cloth with leather, dipping and coating with resin and combining real knits with printed knits to highlight different materials.
Menswear features turtleneck sweaters, jump suits, sweaters and jacket in woven fabric, wool and leather while women’s wear highlights jackets, tunics, maxi dresses and cigar pants in knits, wool, chiffon, printed fabrics and organza silk.
White, grey and black are still the favoured colours with splashes of ultra marine blue and cobalt adding colour to the palette. Graphics include stripes, free hand tartan and coated lines in the shape of the human face.
The preview event included a live performance by electronics duo, Stylish Nonsense, and brought together several Greyhound fans, among them Pattree Bhakdibutr, Sombatsara Thirasaroj, Chalisa Viravan, Chulalux Piyasombatkul, Ananda Chaladcharoen, Hathairat Charoenchaichana, Apichai Tragoolpadetgrai and Arak Amornsupasiri.
