Pattaya city destroys the environment

A few months ago I had a letter in the newspaper about the way the city of Pattaya was decimating the beautiful trees on Beach Road. Since then the situation has become tremendously worse.
Recently the Pattaya Mail ran a front-page article about this problem and many readers wrote letters to the paper expressing their outrage.
The other day I was standing across the street from Beach Road looking at all those ugly tree stumps and tears began to roll down my eyes. What the city of Pattaya has in effect done is wage all-out war against God, nature and the environment. What is it about human beings that makes them so evil?
