Blatant contradictions in Romney policies

Why hasn't anyone noted the blatant contradictions in Mitt Romney's economic proposals? On one hand he blames taxation for America's economic woes. On the other hand, he says cutting tax loopholes, which would make people pay more taxes, is the solution.

Now how can the cause of a problem be the solution? Think about it.
Suppose I use tax loopholes to avoid paying 20 per cent of my taxes. Why should I care if a President Romney removes my tax loopholes but then gives me a 20-per-cent tax cut anyway?
And why am I the only person in the world who is intelligent enough to ask that question?
