I am no fan of football or of Sven-Goran Eriksson because football is now dictated more by money than sportsmanship.
I am currently more fascinated with Thailand’s women’s volleyball and its manager, Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai.
The game has caused me to appreciate more the virtues of teamwork, perseverance and cheerfulness even when under pressure.
Money cannot buy those virtues. They can only come from the devotion to the game of Coach Aod and his players.
Eriksson’s fondness for Thailand and women are personal and none of the tabloid’s business.
If one is Thai or French, one would admire him for his prowess as a man instead of envying him with spite like the British tabloids.
