No excuse for bigoted incitement

According to Abraham Lincoln, "What kills the skunk is the publicity it gives itself."

In our interconnected, largely uncensored world, humans shouldn’t be allowed to intentionally denigrate the religious beliefs of others. When the malodorous smell of a skunk has faded, and a pissing contest reeks intense, it’s difficult to tell who started it. There’s no legitimate excuse for outraged skunks to resort to violence, but there’s also no excuse for self-serving, narrow-minded, neo-conservative bigots to be allowed freedom to manipulate media-mania politics and foment hatred.
