Re: "TrueVisions asks Uefa, 'What's the score?'", Letters, October 11.

It is good to see that the guys at TrueVisions are trying to get this problem solved and I hope they will succeed. It may be helpful for Khun Chulathi, manager of sports programmes, to know that viewers in Germany were able to see the information that is missing here on the screens. I know this for a fact.
So please don’t let Uefa tell you stories. Yes, he was a good player, but with people like Michel Platini as CEO there, I do not have a great deal of confidence in the football organisation.
I forgot to mention also that, unless you are an intimate follower of European football, you have to guess which teams are playing, especially as they seem to change their outfits every time they play. Again, nothing appears on the screen to identify the teams for up to 10 minutes at a time. Recently, switching on True Sports, I saw a match being aired as a repeat and had no idea who was playing. I could establish the time played from the onscreen information, but that was it.
