In the first paragraph of his missive, Eric Bahrt writes: “I imagine that the readers were quite intrigued when John Arnone wrote that a friend of his saw me in Pattaya and reported to Arnone that I looked emaciated.”
In the last paragraph he writes: “So where John Arnone portrays himself as this great civil libertarian and accuses me of imposing myself on him, I would never send friends of mine into his neighbourhood to harass and intimidate him.”
Somewhere between the first and last paragraph, the message evolved to say that I “sent” this man after him. He then uses this new revelation to try and negate my statement that people should leave other people alone.
Eric, you are not only obtrusive, you are dishonest. It makes me wonder about exactly how much of what you have been reporting to the newspapers for years has actually been true. Or could it be that the lack of a balanced diet causes you to have memory lapses?
I sent no one anywhere. You see, Eric, I don’t treat people that way.
John Arnone
