Teen magazine Seventeen recently celebrated its tenth birthday by dishing out the Teen Choice Awards at a big bash held at Siam Paragon’s Parc Paragon.
Hundreds of celebrities turned out for the event, among them Polapat “Moo” Asavaprapa, designer of the Asava clothing brand, pop art artist Kongpat “Ong” Sakdapitak, Atcha “Pang” Charoenrasamikiert, owner of Imp'addict shop, Apinara “Prang” Srikarnchana, Napasara Thaiwat, Phitsinee “Si” Tanwiboon, and Nichari “Wawwa” Chokprajakchat, who all posed for photos on the pink carpet.
RS’s girl group Fay Fang Kaew and Academy Fantasia’s singers Kacha and Nancha provided the entertainment with mini concerts.
Screams were loud as the host of TV teenage variety show “Wake Club” Akaranat “Knot” Ariyaritwikul, announced 16-year-old Wipawee “Primmy” Patsiri as the winner of Seventeen Ambassador 2012.
Thai-Norwegian model Urassaya “Yaya” Sperbund, winner of the Seventeen Choice Hottie Female for the past two years, helped blow out the candles on the birthday cake.
Then came the announcement of the other 13 Teen Choice Awards.
Pakorn “Dome” Lump won Seventeen Choice Hottie Male; Mario Maurer was Seventeen Choice Actor; Cherman “Ploy” Boonyasak was awarded Seventeen Choice Actress; Chulachak “Hugo” Chakrabongse won Seventeen Choice Teen Inspiration; Stamp landed Seventeen Choice Music Male Artist; Da Endorphine received Seventeen Choice Music Female Artist; Fay Fang Kaew won Seventeen Choice Music Group; Thanathat “Kangsom” Chai-ut of The Star 8 was awarded Seventeen Choice Rising Star; Suquan Bulakul received Seventeen Star Icon; Rasri “Margie” Balenciaga picked up Seventeen Most Adorable, Pachara “Peach” Chirathivat won Seventeen Choice Smart & Sophisticated, while Jirayu “Kao” La-ongmanee won Seventeen Sweetheart.
