Buyers of new models of Sony VAIO computers can enjoy streaming music free of charge via a Windows 8 application, vMUSIC by Sony.
The application and free streaming music service is a collaboration between Sony Thai and BEC Tero Music.
The vMUSIC app on certain models of new VAIO tablets, notebooks and all-in-one desktop computers allows users to enjoy streaming music from BEC Tero Music, Sony Music, Bakery Music, Blacksheep and Love Is unlimitedly on an around-the-clock basic.
The VAIO models eligible for the free app and service are VAIO Duo 11, VAIO Tap 20, VAIO T Series 13, and VAIO E Series 14P, according to Paul Manatthaworn, Digital Director of BEC Tero Music. The music list can be browsed by album, genre or artist.
Paul said the Sony-BEC Tero venture would allow Sony VAIO users to enjoy hit songs from the music labels conveniently anytime anywhere in the case of tablet computer or notebook computer use.
The cooperation is based on Sony’s technology innovation and BEC Tero’s huge song database and it will showcase how the technology will develop and grow along the music market in the near future, Paul said.
“BEC Tero expects that the growth of technology will go along with the music market perfectly in the future,” he said. “This cooperation is a perfect blend of music lifestyle with IT consumer products.”
He said users of VAIO computers can download vMUSIC by Sony app from Windows Store and start enjoying the music.
Since the music can be streamed live from anywhere, anytime, users do not have to download them to waste hard disk space.
Anyone interested to try the vMUSIC by Sony app can drop by at showrooms of Sony, Sony Store, Sony Centres and VAIO Pro Shops around the country.
