Big Mountain celebrates another successful festival in Khao Yai

 

More than 50,000 fans turned out for last weekend’s “Big Mountain Music Festival 4” at Bonanza Khao Yai, enjoying the cold breezes and music from more than 150 Thai and foreign bands on seven stages.
Spotted in the crowd were celebrity couples Songkran Techanarong and Taksaorn Paksukcharoen, Shakrit Yamnarm and Virithipa “Woonsen” Pakdeeprasong, Puri and Alisa Hirunyapruk, Pimmada Boriruksuppakorn and Thanakrit “Wan” Panichawit, and Natthaveeranuch Thongmee and Chalermchai Mahagitsir. Rachawin “Koy” Wongwiriya cheered Bodyslam’s Atiwara “Toon” Kongmalai from the wings of the Cow stage, while Woraratchata “Botan” Shinnapan showed her appreciation for hubby Thanadol “Pid” Changsawek, Bodyslam’s bassist 
The “Ferris Wheel” stage was home to such acts as The Mousses, 25 Hours, Scrubb, Slot Machine, Potato, Carabao featuring Da Endorphine, Bank Clash, ETC and Sqweez Animal. Cow featured Laongfong, Amiaya from Japan, Singto Namchok, Bell Suphol, Salyu X Salyu from Japan, Lipta, Wacharawalee, Be Peerapat, Friday, Mild, Bodyslam, who were joined by Ad Carabao for “Belief”, Nuvo and Mr Team. 
Rain came to Khao Yai on the second day but the fans didn’t care and stood around the 
stages clutching umbrellas. Ferris Wheel opened with Cocktail, Instinct, Crescendo, Jetset’er featuring Pijika, Zeal, Big Ass featuring Toon Bodyslam, Paradox, Thaitanium and Silly Fools, while Cow showcased KPN singers Bie, Phonelink, and Typhoon, Namm Ronnadet, Muzu, Ae Jirakorn, Tee Chaiyadej, Pop Pongkul, Waan Thanakrit, Aof Pongsak, Dome, Tono, Nat, Lula, T-Bone, Chin Chinawut featuring Fifi, The Bottom Blues, and Superglasses Ska Ensemble.
Fans also enjoyed shopping at the Sam Yan market and feasting on the goodies offered by ore than 100 food booths.
