Ploy down twice in media bout
Actress Chermarn "Ploy" Boonyasak, who always looks so fresh and beautiful, got a little nudge from Nature recently to take life easier - or at least stay away from reporters
She fainted twice during a commercial event at Centre Point Studio.
Ploy was fine onstage making her presentation. The trouble arose when the media showed up (as usual). She left the stage to greet waiting reporters, and then just passed right out while talking to them. Helped away by her manager, Ploy simply explained that she hasn’t been well lately. “And I didn’t have breakfast today either!”
The diagnosis was sinusitis and tonsillitis. “I could hardly talk,” Ploy said. Never mind that, barked the deeply concerned press, is your boyfriend Navin “Tar” Yavapolkul bugging you to work less? “Nothing to do with him, really,” she said, wincing.
Well, is Tar moving out of your apartment? “Can we stop now?” she said, edging away. And then she fainted again, just like that.
And the reporters had so many more important questions to ask!

Businesswoman Leena “Leena Jung” Jungjanja skipped the Bangkok governor’s race this time around, but she still hit the news on Wednesday when a video appeared on YouTube. And it’s not about politics, either.
It shows her slamming the hosts of YouTube channel “Spokedark TV” – Winyu “John Winyu” Wongsurawat and Phor Mor. Apparently they’d made fun of her gubernatorial no-show and her cable-TV channel, where she basically just sits there talking to the camera.
Leena goes into tantrum mode, melting the volume control with a string of not-very-nice curses and words you don’t say in public unless you’re as mad as Leena was.
“I’m your mothers’ generation, and if you want to criticise me, do some homework first! My channel is not a rural TV channel. I have my own satellite TV station and my equipment is all expensive. You guys couldn’t even get a station and have to rely on YouTube!”
They’ve got a lot more viewers now, though.
