Terror is defined as: an overwhelming feeling of fear and anxiety; a person who inspires fear or dread; the use of extreme fear in order to coerce people for political reasons.
Two bombs exploded in the crowded streets near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, the first confirmed terror attack on US soil since September 11, 2001. In a united world, the thoughts and prayers of all concerned citizens go out to the victims of this senseless act, recognising that we are all victims of sheer terror and must resolve to confront every threat from any source. President Obama immediately vowed that those responsible for planning and carrying out the attack would “feel the full weight of US justice. We will find out who did this and why”.
There is no finish line to the war on violent terror. There is error in terror just as there is anger in danger.
