Mercedes-Benz drove its new CLA-Class straight into motorists’ hearts recently with a “Set Your Soul Free” party in a Star Dome erected in CentralWorld Plaza, complete with music courtesy of avant-garde singer Gene Kasidit |and disco king Burin Boonvisut.
Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) chief executive Alexander Paufler said the four-door sport coupe marked the debut of the firm’s medium-sized segment. Like the CLS, it has frame-less doors adding to a sense of refined sportiness.
“We are proud to present the new CLA-Class, which was unveiled for the first time in the world at the recent Geneva Motor Show,” Paufler said.
“We are introducing the CLA 250 AMG Dynamic with the new CLA-Class in Thailand. With its stylish, sleek and aerodynamic design and driving competency, the CLA met |with acclaim in the Thai market.
“Its powerful design underscores the sporty side of the Mercedes-Benz brand, which attracts the new target of younger drivers. In the future we will continue to bring young-generation automobile innovations to expand our portfolio and cater to our clients’ every need.”
The launch event featured a stunning light-and-sound system and breathtaking dancing. Among the celebrity guests were Prae Watcharapai, Visa Amaranant, Phumin Niwatawong, Suwara Sanitwong Na Ayutthaya, Veerayos Thephassadin Na Ayutthaya, Methin Hoon-|trakul and Worapruk Techapaiboon.
