Praise for Stephff's rib-ticklers
For a while now, I have been reading Stephff's latest series of cartoons in The Nation ("You know you've been in Thailand too long when").
Okay, “reading” a cartoon sounds weird, because a good cartoon does not need text – and not everybody can make good cartoons.
And they are indeed funny, as they show so well how Thai people stereotype foreigners and tourists – who actually help to provide a lot of jobs for lower- and middle-class Thais. As for upper-class Thais, they don’t need to be bothered with foreigners at all.
