Architecture meets music

Swiss architect Nicolas Buchler of Pure Sunset Beach, one of Thailand’s eco-friendly seafront condominiums, recently hosted a private concert by Swiss-Italian pianist Mauro Lo Conte for |the VIP owners of the condo units and friends at the Phya Thai Palace’s Thewarat Sapharom Hall. More than 200 guests enjoyed |Lo Conte’s performance of classics by Chopin like “Fantaisie – Impromtu” and “Ballade No 4” and Debussy’s “Toccata” and Sarabande”.
Among the guests were Pol Maj Gen Soonthorn Boonrueng, Anan Piromkaew with his wife, Dr Jermsak Pinthong, Montri Sihanatkathakul and Naparat Sihanatkathakul.
The event celebrated a milestone for the owners at the Pure Sunset Beach in Chon Buri’s Na Jomtien district.
“We are very pleased with the reception that Pure Sunset Beach has garnered from so many of Bangkok’s most prestigious families and individuals,” Buchler said.
“Tonight’s concert symbolises our philosophy: that, at the highest levels, architecture and music meet in their striving for excellence. Mauro is an exceptional young talent and we wanted to share his brilliance with our customers and friends.”
