The prime minister is asking how much has been lost on the rice pledging scheme. With all of the opposition yelling about the project, you would have thought that she would be demanding a daily report on the matter for months already.
One would have thought she might have asked a week or so ago when a whistle-blowing official was removed for reasons of competence. Of course, since then another official removed by this government has won an appeal in court. Perhaps the commerce official should be invited back to help them put together some accurate figures. The figures are “classified”. This has not stopped the government feeding “feelgood” statements in the past.
Never mind, because Yaowapa is waiting in the wings knowing the script for the next act – unless the show gets closed.
