Case was discriminatory

Andy Colmes (Letters, July 30) writes that since I was not present when George Zimmerman killed Treyvon Martin, I can't know there was no evidence that Zimmerman didn't commit a crime.

In order for Mr Zimmerman to be guilty of a crime, the jury and the prosecutor would have to have the evidence themselves. Otherwise, legally speaking, there is no evidence. For African-Americans to call Zimmerman a murderer when they themselves have no evidence of it is disgusting.
Mr Zimmerman’s father is white, Mr Zimmerman looks white, and that’s the reason the civil rights leaders are making an issue out of it.
If Zimmerman looked black, this case would never have been brought to trial. And that is blatant discrimination against “white” people.
