Best for baby

Strollers, bouncers and highchairs guaranteed to keep small children safe, sound and happy

Grandparents who remember the struggles of carrying around their kids in their arms are probably green with envy at the choices now available to the modern mum. And with advanced technology ensuring greatly improved safety and security for everyone from newborns to toddlers, bringing up the kids need no longer be a struggle.
As a mother of four, Siporn Phattaralugkarn, owner of Baby&Beyond, has put her experience to good use in selecting premium baby products from around the world for her store.
She now stocks products by more than 40 brands from 10 countries including the US, Norway, Germany, England and Italy. and United States.
“These leading brands are committed to putting children first. Their products are innovative and child centred, providing smart solutions for every baby’s needs,” she says.
Take, for example, the “Origami power-folding stroller” from the US. Made by 4Moms and equipped with safety sensors, it folds itself at the touch of a button in a two-step action that ensures it will fold only when the seat is empty. It also charges your cell phone, counts the miles and features an LCD dashboard that’s charged by generators in the rear wheels as you walk. Plus, the Origami has daytime running lights and pathway lights for low-light conditions.
The little ones will love 4Moms’ high-tech MamaRoo automatic bouncer, which is an adaptation of classic Mamaroo infant seat. It has five unique motions ranging from up and down and side to side, just like parents do when comforting their babies, as well as a toy bar, built-in nature sounds, 5 speeds and is MP3 compatible.
Norway’s Strokke Xplory stroller, a big hit with mums all over Europe, fits around your baby from top to bottom with every inch designed to enhance the experience of moving through the world together. From the obvious height advantage and the elevated seat, down to the adjustable footrest, it ensures safety and ease of movement no matter how tall or small your child is.
Strokk’s “Tripp Trapp Chair” created in 1972 has never been bettered, and almost 40 years later, it is still unique and allows you to grow with your child. It can be adjusted to custom fit your child’s body through its unique depth and height adjustable seat and foot plate. This enables comfortable and correct ergonomic seating for children of any age. There are seven colours to choose from.
Bloom’s “Fresco Chrome Highchair” from the US features three-in-one “grow with child” modes. The world's highest baby chair, the fresco chrome offers a three-position recline system (fully lie-flat newborn cradle, semi-recline, and upright seat), and easy up/down height adjustment, allowing baby to join the family at the dining table or the modern breakfast bar.
For parents who like to travel on two wheels, Siporn says, she particularly likes the Italy’s Bellelli brand. “The child seat offers maximum safety and comfort for your baby. And it can be easily mounted to the frame of the bike you already have,” she says. “The Rabbit Sportfix Bike Seat” is ergonomically fitted to small kids of up to 15kilograms. The parent-friendly safety buckle can be fastened and unfastened with just one hand.
Belelli’s “Tiger Relax Bike Seat” is a back child seat for the bike with terrific back support and space for the child’s helmet. And the favourite “Bellelli B-Taxi Bike Seat” has a maximum weight capacity of 40 kilograms and 5-point safety belts to hold one or two children. A high resistant structure protects against impact, stones and uneven road surface and the steel rollbar connects to the bicycle with a double safety system.
