TrueVisions to upgrade to more HD channels on Sept 12
TrueVisions will upgrade the quality of some channels from standard definition to high definition for its knowledge, entertainment and sport content on September 12.
The changes will take place on Thursday September 12 from 00:01 to 08:00 (the night of Wednesday 11th September to the morning of Thursday 12th September).
Anat Mekpaiboonvatana, managing director of TrueVisions, said some channels will be upgraded from standard definition to high definition without any additional charge.
“The channels that will be upgraded are ASN HD, SETANTA, True Tennis HD, Lifetime HD, Life Inspire HD and CNN HD. Subscribers who have these channels in the current package will get the upgrade instantly. For example, Platinum HD subscribers can view all the six upgraded channels, Gold HD subscribers can view four channels (SETANTA, True Tennis HD, Lifetime HD and CNN HD) and Super Family and Super Knowledge subscribers can view three channels (SETANTA, ASN HD and Life Inspire HD),” Anat said.
During the upgrading process 00:01 to 08:00 Thursday morning, the programs cannot be viewed, and the signal will resume around 08:00.
