The recent photo-op pictures of Prime Minister and Defence Minister Yingluck alongside esteemed world statesmen are further proof (if any were needed) that gentlemen and ladies do not offend their hostesses.
After being provided with deluxe lodging, chauffeured limousines, five-star banquets in their honour, what guests would deign to offend their gracious hosts? That, among other reasons, is why we can’t expect frank assessments of the political squabbles blighting Thailand – to which the guests were groomed to address.
