“Siam Paragon Kids International Fashion Week 2013”, the largest kids fashion event in Southeast Asia, returns to Parc Paragon this weekend, this time bringing together more than 300 young models with many leading Thai fashion designers.
“Siam Paragon is a world-class shopping destination that offers the maximum number of global brands and a superb shopping experience while Siam Center has been a leading supporter of Thai fashion for the past 40 years. We believe this event marks yet another major step forward for Thailand on the international fashion stage. The kids’ fashion market today is large and has high potential for continuous growth. Properly supported, this growing fashion segment will add to the importance of our country’s widely acclaimed fashion talent in line with the government’s aim of establishing Thailand as a leading fashion capital in Asia,” said Mayuree Chaipromprasith, chief marketing officer of Siam Paragon, during the recent press conference.
This third edition of the kids fashion event underlines Siam Paragon’s and Siam Center’s positions as the hubs of international and Thai fashion brands, and will see the junior models present the Autumn/Winter 2013 collections on the theme “The World Is Our Runway.” With a Bt20-million budget, the event will also provide young children with an opportunity to broaden their horizons with a fun experience as well as create a valuable platform for Thailand’s new design talents.
Kicking off the eight shows will be Kids 21, which sells more than 30 junior luxury fashion brands and is a leading importer of global luxury fashion. Kids 21 will showcase 11 luxury brands – Bonpoint, Boss, Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin Petite, Little Marc Jacobs, Mami, Oscar de la Renta, Rykiel Enfant, Scotch R’Belle, Scoth Shrunk and Stella McCartney Kids.
