French designer Eric Raisina brings his exciting textures to L'Optimum's launch

After releasing its inaugural edition last month, the Thai-edition of L’Optimum magazine recently held its official launch party at Park Paragon with an exclusive fashion show for men by French designer Eric Raisina.
The party swapped the traditional red carpet for a cool black number and brought three superstars in different fields into the spotlight, among them world-class footballer and fashion icon Hidetoshi Nakata, who represents Calvin Klein and was recently spotted in the front rows of the Milan and Paris fashion weeks.
Run by Kusuma Chaiyaporn, Ali Ziani and Ston Tantraporn, L’Optimum Thailand has invited him for an exclusive interview, which will be published in the November edition. Also gracing the black carpet were Thai boxer Buakhao Banchamek and singer/actor Pakorn “Dome” Lam.
The event, which served as a showcase Raisina’s Haute Texture collection, was attended by celebrities and A-listers including ML Rangsithorn Bhanubandh, Chadatip Chutrakul, Supaluck Umpujh, Napassorn Buranasiri, Chutima Durongdech and MR Srikhumrung Yugala.
The Madagascar-born and Cambodia-based Raisina has developed exclusive fabrics for Yves Saint-Laurent and Christian Lacroix. His new collection is inspired by the mix of African, European and Asian cultures.
