The report that most members of the Upper House might vote against the controversial amnesty bill, passed by the House of Representatives last Friday, is good news.
It shows that good elements still prevail over the bad in this country.
It also shows that Thaksin Shinawatra went a step too far in having his Pheu Thai Party push the bill through the Lower House.
From now on, let’s hope Thaksin’s grip over this country will become weaker and weaker, so that Thailand will be peaceful and prosperous once again.
