Making sure the amnesty bill isn't resurrected

The Democrats are increasing the pressure on the government because they don't trust its pledge not to resurrect the expanded amnesty bill. They fear sly Thaksin might use other means to achieve the same end, such as an executive decree. And the Democrats

What if there were a drastic penalty for breaking the pledge? Perhaps all government MPs could sign letters of resignation before witnesses and sign over all their personal assets to the educational institution of their choice. The letters would be given to the opposition leader for safekeeping, to become effective if the expanded amnesty bill, or legislation with the same effect, were proposed or passed.
Sure, this idea’s crazy and naive. So, dear reader, let’s hear a better one from you.
