Stars line up for a good Spanx
American shapewear brand Spanx celebrated its arrival on the Thai arrival by presenting Spanx awards to 10 of Thailand's most stylish celebrities.
Among the guests turning out to Zense Gourmet Deck & Lounge Panorama were Suthavadee Sirithanachai, Intira Thanavisuth, Patreeya na Nakorn and Vachinee Krairerk.
Atthawadee Jiramaneekul was named Best Spanx Newcomer while the Miss Congeniality went to Asita Wimonchaijit. The prizes for Vibrant Personality and Best Spotlight were given to Ravivan Tanaka and Nana Rybena respectively. Kornkanok Yongsakul went home with Best Young Style Icon and Vilasinee Pornprasertthavorn was Smoothest Performance. Nualpan Osathanon grabbed Top Honours and Vachinee Krairerk was awarded Most Stylish. Best Shape in the Universe was given to Natalie Glebova and the Super-Duper Star was Tata Young.
A fashion show by local stylist Apiwat Yospraphan, added to the glamour of the launch event. The show featured models in fashions inspired by the Hollywood legends and superstars Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Madonna and Lady Gaga.
Tyra Banks, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cate Blanchett have one thing in common and it's not being a celebrity. These ladies all have their butts covered with Spanx, sometimes referred to as Hollywood's “Slim-Fitting Little Secret”.
The brand now boasts more than 200 products ranging from slimming apparel and swimsuits, to bras, activewear and men’s undershirts, and has outlets in more than 50 countries.
